How do I cancel my DISH subscription?

How do I change the name of my wireless network (SSID)?

Change your network name (SSID) to customize your network and make it more secure compared to leaving it with its default name:

  • Enter ‘192.168.0.1’ in your internet browser’s address bar and hit Enter.
  • Enter the administrator username and password (default username and password can be found labeled on the bottom of your modem) and select ‘Apply’.
  • Browse our complete channel table by plan (consult your bill if you’re unsure which plan you have).
  • Select ‘Wireless Setup’.
  • Enter the new network name in the ‘Network Name’ field and select ‘Apply’.
Can I hook DISH up to multiple TVs in an RV?

Yes! You can purchase enough DISH receivers to go with every TV in your RV, however you will also need a portable dish that can support that many receivers.

How do I connect my DISH Hopper, Joey or Wally to Wi-Fi?

Follow these steps:

  • Press the ‘MENU’ button once (or the ‘HOME’ button twice, depending on which remote you have).
  • Select ‘Settings’ (for Hopper Plus – select ‘DISH Settings’).
  • Select ‘Internet’.
  • Select ‘Wireless Setup’.
  • Select ‘WPS SETUP’ if your router has Wi-Fi Protected Setup enabled, then press the WPS button on your router itself (if your router doesn’t have WPS enabled, simply continue to the next step).
  • Select ‘WI-FI SETUP WIZARD’.
  • Choose your preferred network from the displayed list.
  • Select ‘Next’.
  • Enter your wireless network’s password (disregard if your network is not password-protected).
  • Select ‘Save’.
How do I fix missing channels in my DISH Hopper?

Missing channels are most often caused by a misconfigured Program Guide or a Hopper error. To fix, follows these steps:

  • Make Program Guide show ALL subscribed channels
  • Press the ‘Guide’ button on your remote and check the current list. If it is not ‘ All Subscribed’, then press the Options button (or the red color button) and select ‘All Subscribed’.
  • Reset Your Hopper
  • Unplug your Hopper’s power supply for 10 seconds, then plug it back in.
  • Wait up to 5 minutes for reset process to complete.
How do I change profile information in the MyDISH app?

Select ‘Account’ from the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen. From there you can edit contact information, billing information, username and password, security settings, email or text notifications and add, remove or edit household members.
