This Netflix show features one of the industry’s most popular actors in the leading role of Griselda Blanco, a Colombian drug lord in 1970’s Miami, Florida. Based on true events, the series will follow her rise to power after illegally immigrating to the United States and setting up one of the world’s most powerful drug trades. Once in Miami, her reign of terror begins – with drive-by killings being the most-used tactic. Miami is thrown into turmoil, and the local police and DEA are forced into action against the cartel.
